Who is responsible?
Piquoli is an app by Scudyweb. For any question about your data: scudyweb@gmail.com or the contact form.
The app on your computer (Mac, Windows)
Your progress, your lists and your settings stay on your computer. The app only connects to the internet to:
- check your subscription with scudyweb.be (your key and a computer identifier, to respect the number of devices);
- look for updates and download the voices;
- sync your data, only if you have linked a Piquoli account.
The Piquoli account and the online version (app.piquoli.be)
An account is required online and optional on the computer. We store:
- your email address and your password (encrypted: we cannot read it);
- your progress, your lists, your settings and your subscription, so you find them on all your devices.
A single cookie is used, to keep you signed in. There are no ads and no audience measurement tools. You can delete your account at any time from the app: all its data is then erased.
Emails
With an account, you receive a welcome email and then a few useful emails (end of the free trial, new content). Each one contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
Speaking practice (microphone)
On the computer, speech recognition runs entirely on your machine: nothing is sent. Online, the recording is sent to our server to be transcribed, then deleted straight away. It is never kept.
Payment
Subscriptions are taken on scudyweb.be, through Stripe. Piquoli never sees your bank details. Your key is sent to you by email.
The contact form
Your name, your email address and your message are sent to us by email, only so that we can reply to you.
Hosting
The site and the online version are hosted on an OVHcloud server in the European Union. Your data is never sold or shared.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by writing to scudyweb@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
